Amazon Prime. How are the costs?

I wanted to ask, since I do not have a subscription to a service like Netflix, Amazon Prime and so on, I wanted to ask what you could recommend to me? I only use it for myself and then I want to watch it on the go on my tablet. Since I also order a lot from Amazon, is it then profitable to get Amazon Prime and it really costs only 7.99 euro?
