I saw Fast and Fourius 7 and noticed that Dominic Toretto switched from bottom to top in his charger. The guide looks something like a kind of sine curve, only that these are angular and run parallel to the driver on the "Y-axis". Does anyone know what this type of gearshift is called, or was it a custom-made product for the film. The circuit can be seen briefly between 1:35:00 and 1:36:00 when Dom gets into his charger. Unfortunately, Netflix does not allow screenshots, these are blackened.
I think I got a screenshot here. I don't know how to call it, but maybe I could help whom to answer: 3 For me, screenshots are not blackened, I can also take screen shots without them being blackened. (Don't know if you mean the scene)
That's exactly what I mean, thanks for the screenshot
Is ne normal automatic circuit?
Not at all, it's a manual gearshift, I'd like to know what it's called so that I can get one myself.
This gear shift is a fake of the film industry, it's just supposed to look good, the producers apparently used 2 cars, one that looks good but can't drive and another that looks like the other from the outside not from within. https://fastandfuriousfacts.com/doms-charger-from-the-fast-and-the-furious/
No problem.
I'm a little late to this, but the shifter that Dom appears to use in his Charger, although probably not really using because of movie magic, is a Winters Performance Parts Sidewinder Shifter. Hope this helps.

It's a winter shifter. I thought this is weird because dom's car is fast but the shifter only allows you to go up to 3 gears while the others are parking and reverse
