Looking for a movie on Netflix or Amazon?

I once heard of a really good film, but unfortunately I forgot the name.

It is about a man fighting and being killed in an alien war. But he wakes up a short time later in the morning of the same day and goes through the same action again.

This happens to him over and over again.

At some point he realizes what he is dying of and acts so that he does not die of it. But then shortly afterwards killed again by something else.

He experiences the action more and more often and gets a little bit further each time.

At some point he meets a woman who goes through the same thing.

Does anyone know the film?

Edge of tomorrow maybe?
