I haven't had TikTok, Insta or Amazon Prime for a few weeks now. So I only have WhatsApp and otherwise Spotify.
We also had Netflix for a while, but my parents think there are no good films for them, so they canceled it after 3 months.
I'm 12 and I'm in 7th grade at a high school. And actually have a relatively good average. (The last years always 1.1 or 1.2) So there's nothing to complain about my grades.
In addition, I have been riding twice a week for 6 years and have always participated in riding. I've also played the clarinet for 4 years and in the orchestra for 2.5 years. I have also owned two Meeris for 5 years.
So actually I'm relatively organized etc…
How can I convince my parents to pay me Netflix or Amazon Prime now?
Your arguments:
No good movies / series for her. But that's only partially true.
I would then apparently sit on it too long.
Too little time for school etc. Invest
I already have Spotify. The costs would then add up…
Can you argue against it somehow or write down your general opinion here? That would be really nice.
They pay you sooo much, be thankful for that. They are absolutely right not to pay you for that too.
am on your parents' side.
How about if you sacrifice your pocket money for it? Then say yes
I convinced her by saying that I only have to pay 15 euro once and that I get a lot more films and series than if I spend 6 euro twice a week for UPC on demand films, so she gave me the money for it Netflix ^^ "
But you can just save your pocket money for that long and then you just buy it
Just get yourself a prime trial month that is free, maybe your parents will find more good ones for themselves. The advantage with.prime is that you are not only dependent on the included offers, but also something you can borrow or buy for a fee.
That with the costs: with prime, amazin music basic would already be included. You might be considering whether that would be enough for you instead of Spotify and if not the surcharge for amazon music unlimited would be lower than Spotify.
Try to explain to your parents that you also want something for your taste. Just agree on firm rules when they're afraid you watch too much.
E.g. During the week a maximum of 1 film or 2 series and on the weekend and during the holidays it doesn't matter as long as you don't neglect your other things. And if you have a bad grade that can be traced back to too little learning because of prime as a punishment, e.g. B. No prime for a week.
Something like that…
I don't understand why, because you can also look at the things on the internet (you spend money on the design and so on netflix). If not then ask whether they might only pay you netflix and you spotify for it and you don't have to give them the money every month, but they simply deduct it from their pocket money?
You can watch the series and films on gray-area pages where you don't pay anything, but if everyone did that, the film and television industry would almost go down the drain.
The money you pay for Netflix doesn't go 100% to Netflix.
Yes're right
