Subtitle not correct?

I've noticed lately that the subtitles in every movie are not 100% accurate. Shorter and shorter versions are being written and I think that's pretty nasty towards deaf people because they write something completely different. Netflix sometimes even uses completely different numbers. They turn 200, 750 out of it. Is there a specific reason? Are the people who create the subtitles just lazy or is there an explanation for them?

Em

With numbers kp, but probably shorter so that you can keep up with the reading.

"Is there a specific reason?"

Yes. Because the German subtitles are often translated from the English language and not the image of the German synchro.

Vi

I think the shortening might have something to do with the fact that you just can't read that fast. The subtitle can't cover the entire screen but must be in the lower area

Ri

The wording can't be reproduced in writing and it is more difficult to convey plots in subtitles, so this is probably being adapted

Fu

Yes no, it can't be. Too often, subtitles have completely meaningless changes that are not necessarily shorter.
