I have just watched the film "Noah" on Netflix and am now wondering if the film is Christian, if not then please write what is different in Christianity than in the film, thanks
The film is based on the Old Testament of the Bible, but also on a comic series that describes many events that are not mentioned in the Bible.
Who is surprised when you see what directors have made of Brothers Grimm's story?
The story was stolen by the Christians from the Babylonians. The Netflix adaptation now refers to the Stone Guardian Angels as they appeared in the Babylonian Legends and the Jew / Christian Noah. It can be seen as Christian, but I find it Babylonian, even if the film is more like it with monotheism "the Creator" is coined as Auslösee. The stone giants fit well with the story because there were similar myths about similar beings in the Bible.
Because it does not represent the traditional plot, but is only fiction with the rock figures.
However, the representation of the "Wells of the Deep" is nice - I did not expect that.
