I just had a disagreement with my girlfriend. So we've already thought about what we want to watch on Netflix at Christmas. When I suggested we could watch a horror movie (I'm a horror movie fan) she freaked out and said that I was full of psycho. Can you understand my friend If yes why? Is it weird to watch a horror movie at Christmas?
So it's strange, but not bad. At Christmas you tend to watch heartwarming Christmas films.
Well, "normal" people think that Christmas is the time of contemplation and peace. However, I find it perfectly legitimate to watch a horror film on Christmas. But try to agree.
I have just retired to the PC because my wife is of the opinion that she has to check out "The Little Lord" for the umpteenth time.
At the annual Christmas kitsch (the above is a good example) it is downright relaxing to be able to see something else. Maybe you can agree on a Christmas horror movie? "Santa's Slay" or "Krampus" might be an alternative…
Wouldn't it be okay if you wanted to watch a horror movie in addition to the usual movies? But maybe she just wants to watch more beautiful films than horror that day. But freaking out and berating about it is not exactly nice, you can also say something more friendly.
What kind of film do you want to watch? Maybe you can find a compromise through a horror comedy or a horror film that is also set in the Christmas season. For example:
Krampus
Santa Slay
Nightmare befor Chrismas
Know Krampus. Really awesome movie!
Then I would have to be a psycho too, because I wanted to watch Rambo for Christmas.
I don't know how your girlfriend comes up with it, but I find it quite amusing.
Don't worry, you are not psycho or anything like that because you want to watch a horror film there… Some just find it strange to see such films on such a "special" day.
