Looking for a film with a woman in a red dress?

I just saw a brief preview of the movie on Thriller on Netflix. The woman is wearing a red dress and tells two police officers that she has been kidnapped if she can help her.

The police go away and the man "their kidnapper is behind it."

And says sid should have worn different shoes. Unfortunately I didn't see the name of the film…

Maybe someone knows? And knows what his name is?
