I'm currently watching Naruto on Netflix (I'm in season 7; episode 2) and wanted to know if Sasuke is coming back or if he's only coming back to Shippuden. And still wanted to ask if I should look further or switch to Shippuden. An answer would be nice.

As far as I know, he doesn't come back from Shippuden. (Maybe in a filler episode… But it's a filler). And. Well… If you like Naruto blatantly, you can watch the fillers (I personally wouldn't like Naruto for 11 seasons XD, so the character and the anime) but if you find him more semi I would switch directly to Shippuden.
