Chivalry of a failed knight?

This is an anime or maybe even an ecchi on Netflix. That is the first question… Is it an ecchi?

But the real question is. What is it all about? And how did you like it, would you recommend the series to me?

The two main components are ecchie and action (mostly 1vs1 duels) as well as a bit of fantasy (magic fighting skills)

So now an addendum: I liked the duels. The ecchie humor and cutscenes aren't really. One can have looked and is good, but not a masterpiece. It has no special story - typically "I want to get better" and a lot of concurrent events. The core lies in the battles, which are held in the style of a 1vs1 with magical abilities.

Ecchi is a component but not the main genre

A student who is the worst student of the school in terms of grades "the failed knight" but he is the best swordsman at school but sword art does not flow into the grades but just magical skills and so and then he and the best student I don't say a duo to school anymore

Is he nervous around girls because I don't like that very much…

Ecchi is a genre. He is not either anime or ecchi.

Rather → anime with or without ecchi.

Chivalry offers some nice fights but is otherwise relatively average in terms of the story. The main focus is probably on the ability of the protagonist. The whole school stamps this as a non-expert. But Ikki can fight. It is particularly strong for a short time when it releases all of its inner blockages. Then he needs a lot of rest.

No. Both are relatively strong in character. It is also not a more healthy one and the relationship becomes clear very early on.

Ecci is special in 2 scenes. Otherwise, it stays within reasonable limits.

That sounds great.
