In theory, everyone can find what they want, but just because it's your favorite, Black Clover isn't necessarily good.
Seen objectively, it offers some criticisms.

So here as info for the questioner: If you are not a big fan of Shounen aka. Naruto and co. Are or have a lot of time and patience, this anime is rather not recommended.

The main character is pretty annoying, always shouts in shounenmania and prefers to hit rather than think.
The anime is full of fillers, flashbacks etc. So you get the feeling that the producers should squeeze out a new episode every week in a small team and the story takes a lot of time.

Unfortunately not in a good way, unimportant and boring scenes are shown and potential for really great is wasted.
Especially at the beginning it takes time for the anime to get going.
The overall quality also suffers from the hurried work.

And I don't even want to talk about some CGI graphics.

To be fair, I have to say that I can't do much with Shounen.
(There are exceptions like Hunter x Hunter, of course).
So like I said, if you are not a fan of it, you shouldn't watch the anime, there are a lot of good anime out there that are more worthwhile…

Since I can think of far too many that I could name, I just do it differently.

And did I say Black Clover is good? No, I just said that it is MY fav no more. If you don't like the animation, filler and synchro you can also read the manga. That the main character is "annoying" is a subjective opinion (I do not deny your statement with that but does not change anything that it is subjective)

I did not say that you should not recommend it, but only added to the questioner that it does not have to be good just because someone finds it best.

Being a fan was related to the general Shounen genre, not Black Clover.
Even if you can argue with every genre, the shounen genre is partly a special case that you have to like a lot, hence the mention that Black Clover is probably not something for the "ordinary" viewer, or someone who is more Fantasy likes (it's better in other anime than in Black Clover).

Of course, he should form his own opinion and possibly look at the anime, but given the amount of existing anime, one or the other may want to screen out something beforehand.

Well, a matter of taste, the openings don't really catch me and I have seen so many anime ops that I would / could title "best openings".

At least you can see that the openings have been tried, but they don't 'stick out'.
