Mobile Suit Gundam: Watch Iron-Blooded Orphans without having seen the other parts beforehand?

I had originally intended to watch Netflix "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans", but now I have seen that there are many other parts of it. My question now is whether I must have watched all of the other anime before to understand the story, or if you can see it if you don't know the other parts?
