How do you like the Netflix price increase?

Netflix increased the price on April 19, 2021. To watch 1080p it now costs 12.99 euro instead of 7.99 euro (old price & price for 480p quality) or for 4k 17.99 euro per month.

I'm interested in how you deal with it, i.e. Which tariff you use or whether you cancel and whether you find the price increase justified despite a lot of paying customers and quite a few reality shows now.

Well, probably no customer will find it good, but of course this makes the competition more attractive

For me, Netflix has a good deal on offer. I have the "ill-mannered" with 3 friends for 18 euro a month, the family tariff. Hence 4.50 per month and person. Pretty fair.

That is not right. The base rate (7.99 euro) remains. The standard rate will be increased from 11.99 euro to 12.99 euro.

Has the base tariff always been just 480p?

Yes he was.

Do not use the service anyway because of the DRM restrictions, especially for higher resolutions.

Without this I would have no problem spending so much, but whoever uses DRM and thereby makes it difficult for me to use the service doesn't get any money from me anyway.

I have the base rate, 7.99, SD, and I'm happy with it. It doesn't increase, so I don't care at first.

And the thing is, there's inflation. Things get more expensive. You have to live with that.
