Since the support for the G6 has been discontinued, the glass back is broken, the fingerprint sensor only works sporadically, the battery has worn out, there are hardly any reasonable custom ROMs and I'm generally no longer satisfied, something new has to be found. The question is what?
My points of criticism are:
- good display, preferably OLED
- I have to get through the day well with the battery
- long and reasonable support
- The camera has to be reasonably passable
- if possible not bigger or not much bigger than the G6
- Jack socket for headphones would be nice
I mainly use the smartphone for surfing, WhatsApp, Spotify, Youtube and Netflix, especially in the morning on the train it is used intensively for almost an hour.
My absolute maximum is 350 euro
I've already noticed the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G and the Google Pixel 4a, but which one would be better?
The Mi10 lite has the better pzoessor and the better display, but instead of you I would take the pixel because it is particularly open to software adjustments and custom roms. In addition, quite small and minimalist.
Would recommend the Xiaomi poco f2 pro to you. It currently costs around 390 euro. But sometimes there's also a sale for 350 euro. Is the best cell phone up to ~ 550 euro and can easily take on the performance of 1000 euro cell phone.
