I used to watch Lego Ninja stuff on TV… I particularly liked a season and would like to see it again.
It was about snakes and the ninja had to fight a race against snakes with skills. I don't know if it was before or after this competition, but the ninja have somehow allied themselves with the snakes. So nh boss snake was white and had purple stripes. I still know that there were normal snakes and some with legs…
What season is that? And where can you see it? Got Netflix and prime video…

To your question: So the race was in season 2 and generally everything you described is season 2 (and that is also the best season). Everything except that with the ally. They fought a snake called pytor in season 2 and it was purple. They defeated them - but came back in white with purple stripes in season 3 and in 4 they allied themselves and the snakes occasionally appeared again. As friends then stop. The series is partly on Prime and everything on Netflix.
