Fargo can recommend you, there are also several seasons, but they are self-contained stories, so you can watch the first season quickly. Then there's Maniac, a mini series with one season.
Stranger Things is nice, but the best series thing I've seen in the last few years was "The Haunting of Hill House". Bonus points: no seasons, but a round, complete story over 10 or so episodes.
In German "Spuk in Hill House" sounds like a TKKG episode - don't let that put you off.
