Netflix, cool or superfluous?
I do not need it. I do not have too much but rather too little free time.
For those who like it - it's cool. And certainly especially if you like American series. I did not need it. Watch rare US series. More anime and sometimes German series.
There are then the "other sources" (you should not talk so much about it here) better that I know and from earlier (I'm older) used to.
Also, I was once logged in, some series are good (Breaking Bad and others), but ultimately is all a waste of time.
If I have nothing better to do, I prefer to read a book.
