I was about to watch Harry Potter on Netflix, but I found that the movies on Netflix don't exist.
Why? And when will they come?
Because Netflix didn't acquire the rights.
Incidentally, there's no other provider in the flat rate.
Probably netflix does not have the rights to show these films… Whether they will purchase them is in the stars… So the films will never come
Warner Bros has the rights to the Harry Potter films. They will not sell the rights to Netflix under any circumstances, because Warner will now be doing its own streaming service, and that will of course become a competition from Netflix. The streaming service will be called HBO Max and will come out in the US in May, i.e. With us probably a bit later. And there will definitely be Harry Potter there, but not with Netflix.
Exactly because Warner Bros has the rights and does not sell them, because they are now doing their own streaming service (HBO Max). There will be Harry Potter there.
