Was the movie "The Purge" removed on Netflix? Who yes why?
This is mostly due to expiring licenses. There's no guarantee that a movie or series will be on Netflix forever.
Yes it did, because the license has expired.
I can't tell you whether it was removed, but it is so that streaming services for third-party productions have to buy licenses to be able to broadcast them. Such a license can be thought of as a cell phone contract, if it is not extended it expires on a certain date and from then on you can no longer use it.
