Brutal or creepy?
I find the Marianne series quite creepy, it is not a film, but it is much better than a lot of what I know in the genre.
Otherwise, my favorite horror movies on Netflix are:
Climax (pretty confusing and disturbing but somehow done cool)
The Purge (I find the story really interesting)
ES (good mix of brutality, creep, friendship and black humor)
Conjuring 1 & 2 (one of the scariest films I know)
The cabin in the Woods (somehow something else, everyone should decide for themselves whether the trash or cool)
Can be both, rather look for a film to watch right away
Find conjuring frankly lame xD spook in the hillhouse is nice but also a series ^^ and a very brutal horroserie is slasher
So my absolute favorite (horror) film would be The Conjuring and this one is also on Netflix. There's also the second part. It's not brutal right now, depending on what you mean by brutal, but it's definitely not bad.
The final destination is more brutal in terms of death. But you've probably already seen them, haven't you?
