Have since c.a. 2 years of Netflix and watch or WILL watch movies every day out of boredom but somehow no longer exist. I once went into the American Netflix with a VPN and I was shocked as I saw that they were filming e.g. Thor have etc. So why are films added and then deleted and then added and then deleted again? I have so slowly to finish the abbo.
Netflix only buys the film rights for a few months or a year, after which it is deleted.
It is clear that they have different rights for different countries.
Different licenses have to be purchased for different regions.
Licenses are required for streaming services (or television stations) to broadcast films and series. These are available for correspondingly expensive money and are usually only given for defined periods of time before the contract expires and should be renegotiated.
Depending on demand and price, there are enough titles where a new negotiation is simply not worthwhile or other titles are given higher priority.
And yes, these licenses must be completed separately for each country. Therefore, it is always the case that a title is not available in country X, but very well in country Y and Z.
