I'm 14 years old, female and I want to be an actress for as long as I can remember. It is really a dream. I would also like to continue my career in the USA later, because it is just something completely different than in Germany (but this is a different topic). In any case, I played in theaters and taught myself a lot. I have no parents working in the film industry and therefore I have to take this into my own hands (support from my parents anyway). There are already some German Originals on Netflix, be it a film or a series. One series is called: HOW TO SELL DRUGS ONLINE. However, I don't find any applications for castings of German Netflix series / films on the Internet. Does anyone know of an agency or site that casts people for it? Maybe Netflix Originals for series / film 2021/2022?
I would be really happy about every answer.

You have to start small. If you are completely unknown, you will definitely not be taken for a Netflix Original film. First gain experience in short films, amateur series etc.
Do you know how many people get there? Some. And in order to stand out there, you have to be able to show something, such as a suitable education, study etc.
Because unfortunately, they can't let millions of people audition who just want to make their dream come true.
I felt similar to you. I have also been in small theater productions (children's courses) to school theater from an early age. I didn't abandon the dream of becoming an actor until I was in high school. But on the one hand you hardly earn anything if you don't play at the top and on the other hand I'm not super pretty. I gave it up as a profession, but as a hobby I often play in front of thousands of people in the city theater.
If you really want to pursue the dream, go on to school, head for a degree and study something along these lines, attend courses or start an apprenticeship.
Can also be combined with pleasure. At the theater I often meet people who play there and at the same time study theater and film studies in Vienna or elsewhere.

You have to start small z. B. Theaters or auditions. Because they would not accept you as "No Name". Acting on Netflix Original films / series and pursuing an acting career in America is really difficult.
