Qled tv or projector?

Question is above.

I want to buy a new device (for picture) for my home cinema in 1 - 2 months.

I have already been informed and advised about qled and oled and have opted for qled, but since I have to put 1,800 euro for the device where I have planned, I'm still considering that there's also a projector plus screen for less.

Info: watch mostly netflix, prime and blurays and sometimes a little sat over my receiver.

To my room:

I have about 2.30 m space in front between my 2 front speakers.

On the right side next to my 49 inch tv is a large window on the east side.

What is better for my room?

A 3d 4k projector with a frame screen (approx. From 2000 lumens) or a 65 or 75 inch qled?

Just say your suggestions, would like to collect opinions.

My projector takes a picture with a 3.7m diagonal. No TV can keep up with that. But only because it can be far from the "screen". Of course you have to take this into account in your premises.

Fe

I crouch about 2.50 to 3 m away from the wall.

pa

It depends on the projector what diagonal it is reaching. Mine is at least 4.5m from the wall. Unfortunately, the optical zoom is usually quite low.

Ay

Beamer and screen is only cheaper if you either buy cheap junk and / or do without things like 4k quality & HDR! Because such a Sony 4k projector costs between 1000 euro and no upper limit and then a clever screen. And there are different ones too. There's the classic white canvas but there are also gray contrast canvases which then provide a better contrast and also work a little better with 3D and and and. Then it also depends on which projector you buy. I e.g. Use a BenQ TH550 which illuminates a 110 "contrast screen" at a distance of 3.78 meters "But only in 1080p so Full HD and it is" only "a DLP projector. So the cost of the screen and projector can be cheaper Yes - especially if you just cut back. It's more about what you prefer.

Qled tv or projector?

Neither of them. OLED TV!

Fe

No because my fuse is old and flies more often (old house) and then the burn-in risk is greater, says my friend

Your acquaintance has no idea. QLED is only brighter and hardly improves the contrast or the image at all. Projectors are not so good quality, unless you want to leave a lot of money and then you can always replace the bulbs, which again costs a lot of money.

The only sensible alternative: OLED. I own a 65 "4K OLED TV from Sony and the picture is absolutely extraterrestrial. The black is real and as dark as the razor-thin edge of the screen. If there's a" black "in the film, it is dark and the light is also off, it gets pitch dark in the room.

Then there's the HDR10. Metals glow and water surfaces simply reflect incredibly intensely and due to the real black level, you have a fabulous contrast. Therefore, anyone who recommends something else simply has no idea about the matter and / or no eyes in his head!

P.S.: The burn-in effect is there with OLED, but so minimal that it is hardly noticeable. And nothing burns in permanently because the pixel technology prevents it with minimal movements. Especially since there are also screensavers.

You only have the risk of burn-in if you always look at the same pictures. As long as you don't watch the same channel for 6 hours, that's negligible. And flying safety is only important if it happens after a long session, just before you want to switch off. If that would happen, there's a menu item where you can also start the "screen cleaning" which he normally does automatically, manually.

And maybe you should let an electrician come because falling fuses are stupid anyway.
