The picture quality of HD is completely sufficient. The mere higher resolution should only be the argument for the surcharge for a few enthusiasts. There are rarely cases in which one would have a visible advantage from the higher resolution. Especially since not all series / films can actually be accessed with 4k.
The premium subscription is more interesting for larger shared apartments or families, where three or four people regularly want to use Netflix for themselves.
You can change the subscription in the user account at any time if necessary. So you can get an impression of how the quality is for a month (test month) and switch to another tariff the next month to have a comparison. After two months at the latest, you will surely know whether you need premium or not.

Many films and series are offered in HD. Many but not directly in HD. You can see that With the film 13 Hours, that is not 100% HD quality, you compare, for example. Other movies or series like The Witcher or Star Trek: Discovery.
Even fewer films offer 4K and… If you hardly see a difference between HD & 4K on a Full HD monitor. As already mentioned, the large package is more interesting for families / shared apartments, for example.
